Message from the Dean

Dear College of Business Administration community,

After pivoting quickly to remote instruction last spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the college’s faculty and students continued to excel in research and business competitions. A few of the highlights included:

  • Julia Levashina, Ph.D. was recognized by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology with the 2020 Jeanneret Award for Excellence in the Study of Individual or Group Assessment.

  • Seven student-run businesses competed for a share of $20,000 in the 4th annual CEBIpitch competition. Six executives, all Kent State alumni, served as judges for the competition, dedicating their time to provide feedback to these impressive student entrepreneurs.
